Kyla Perry
Associate Writer
Kyla Perry is a third-year student at the University of Ottawa, pursuing an Honours Social Science Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Driven by a deep curiosity about the world around her, Kyla is particularly interested in exploring the evolving narratives of the digital age, focusing on media, power dynamics, and the practical implications of political theory. Her academic journey reflects her commitment to understanding how social systems operate, and, more importantly, how they can be challenged and reshaped through critical analysis.
With a passion for writing and advocacy, Kyla is dedicated to developing and applying her research and communication skills to challenge dominant ideologies, spark meaningful conversations, and inspire others to explore their curiosity and continue questioning the world they live in. As a freelance writer for the University of Ottawa's student newspaper, The Fulcrum, she continues to refine her skills. For Kyla, nothing is random; she views the world as a complex web of patterns and cycles, in which she is constantly learning, observing, and sharing her insights with others.
